My name is Allison, I’m from Guilford, CT and I create art using sea glass, shells, and anything else interesting I find on the beach.

Something else about me- I’m currently on the transplant list awaiting a new heart. My condition has limited my ability to live & work conventionally. After having to leave my job/apartment in Boston, hobbies, and basic physical activity behind, I moved back home to Guilford where I help with the family business.

With all of this free time and nothing to do with it, I turned to the beach. I’ve been collecting sea glass for years and it was time to repurpose my inventory. Finally, I had something to do with my time. Creating these pieces is fun, therapeutic, and makes me feel that my time on the list is not time wasted.
